Ambrosiana Auction House is pleased to assist clients throughout the entire sales process. At first we determinate if the artworks that you offer are suitable for auctioning. After that our experts will take care of every detail. The works will be cataloged, photographed and subsequently published in our catalogs. For a first estimation you must send a color image and the details of the artwork (artist, title, date, technique, size) and the documentation that accompanies the same (authentic, bibliographies, provenance). We have an authentics office that deals with archiving practices if your good is not related to any type of document. If you are agree with us about the minimum reserve price of your good (the price under which the good cannot be sold) you must complete a "mandate to sell". When "mandate to sell" is drafted, the good will go under our custody, guaranteeing you an insurance coverage of the same. If the good will be sale, you will pay to the Auction House a seller’s commission between 12% and 18% of the hammer price (and the to 4% of resale rights that will be paid for your account by the Auction House).
